i liked Skimskitta, very nice..

I've liked pretty much everything so far. I listened to the
Alexander's Annexe project she's involved in the other night
on the radio and though I wasn't moved much then, listening
back to it again I'm hearing more and liking it more. She's
definitely someone who benefits from multiple listens.

One on One stand out for me, Skimskitta is an incoherent
entity.

Will there be a new Mira Calix soon?

"skimskitta" is great. I do like her earlier stuff, but the
production on sk.sk. seems a lot better.

yeah the production on skim- is alottt better than the

I think the new one is pretty neat. It's very naive and
delicate, like outsider music but I'm not sure if that's the
correct term. To me it's like a kid discovering interesting
sounds for the first time. I'm not sure if I could listen to
it more than once, though. Sometimes in situations like this
I find listening to an album once is perfectly fine, since I
get afraid that further listenings will dampen the
experience.

Apparently she has a band called Alexander's Annexe and the
descriptions I read make them sound like they're similar to
the new album.
