Need some reccomendations, I love Eno, SAWII, Stars of the
Lid, Harold Budd... the new Max Richter album is amazing.

Was very disapointed with Global Communication 76:14, not as
good as the hype suggests.

Some dark ambient reccomendations would be good, stuff like
the Akira Yamaoka soundtracks to silent hill.

Yeah I heard one of his tracks on a podcast, he sounds very
good indeed. He's on Kranky if I'm not mistaken... and while
we're on that topic, Pantalaimon, have you heard the
offshoot albums from the Stars of the Lid posse? The Dead
Texan one is fantastic.

David Daniell- Sem
Giancarlo Toniutti- La Mutazione
Mirror- Eye of the Storm
Loren Chasse- Hedge of Nerves
Robert Ashley- Automatic Writing
Otomo Yoshihide and Gunter Muller- Time Travel
Drona Parva/Ultrasound- Songs from the Entoptic Garden
Volume 1 (haven't even bothered to listen to the Ultrasound
side, but the Drona Parva side is gorgeous thick organ
ambient drone stuff... tribute to Popul Vuh)
Terry Riley- Persian Surgery Dervishes
Eliane Radigue- Biogenesis

i'm defining ambient pretty loosely here at points. but
yeah. check it out. some of these would for sure appeal to
people.

and yeah, it is inspired by Tarkovsky's Stalker... some even
refer to the album as Rich & Lustmord's 'alternative'
soundtrack to this movie.

get 'kiva' and 'dreamtime return'

you wont be disappointed.

also for a dark brooding thing, get 'peyote' by the o yuki
conjugate.

soulseek will serve you fine.
