mp3's

Don't see the point in buying the cd. Surely it's a waste of
money that can be spent on something else? Like a couple of
rocks of crack!

from time to time

people:
its nice to know that you all listen more to the mp3s, but
you see, I didnt ask for that
I asked for vinyl or cd... was it a difficult question to
understand?

ooh, no need to go into a hissy fit!

your question is clearly overlooking the fact that most
people listen to the Analord stuff as mp3 or FLAC, therefore
your question doesn't represent reality very well.

it's so much easier to play a CD instead of the vinyl. To
add, I enjoy originals way more than MP3's.

if u got no money, fair 2 you for having the analords on
mp3, but otherwise that means you should replace your ears:
analord sound much better on eps. they sounds really really
good (huge bass, beats & mad synths texture).

for i, listening to the analords on mp3 is like listening to
bach's tocata on your mobile phone.

chosen lords cd for the car
flacs made from the vinyl at home

offline gerbik on 2006-05-07 18:49 [#01894616]
Points: 441 Status: Lurker

ive also made a 2CD from the flacs i call "unchosen lords".
that one is also in the car.

i think the answer to nacmat's question is... most people
prefer the analords in a digital format out of convenience.

REPHLEX: put out the other analords on a proper cd as well,
please.

I prefer to listen to the tacks whan RDJ is playing them
himself.. from the mp3's of his most recent gigs... torino,
snowbombing in austria, norway etc. All at watmm.

They're much better live.

flacalord mp3 (inside my car).

I had the mp3s burned onto vinyl, then I ripped them to mp3,
then ripped them to CD, then burned them back onto vinyl.

Somebody toss some mp3s of this my way perhaps?

I don't know how any of this works.

Bought Chosen Lords last week. Disappointed. Now I know all
you geeky trainspotting guys have invested a lot of time and
money in buying all the 12 inch Singles and the Binder and
shit but let me tell you guys - It's not worth it.

It's pure nostalgic self-indulgent nonsense That Richard
might have enjoyed making, but the end results sound dated
and cliched. The equipment he used to make it should be
placed in the fucking dustbin. Aphex always sounded like the
future of music to me. Not any more.

If these are the CHOSEN Lords, then fuck knows what the rest
of the shit you guys bought sounded like. Might be worth
something on E-Bay though. Collectors Item and stuff.

my plan:
chosen lords for home listening,
vinyls for djing purposes.

till now:
minilords (MD) & vlari's mix for street listening,
vinyl for home and dj.

"I asked for vinyl or cd... was it a difficult question to
understand? "

for most people who like mp3s there is no audible difference
between a CD and a high quality kbps mp3. For me personally
i am always satisfied with a 256kbps rip of any cds that i
own.
