ohhhh congrats......married on st paddy's day =)

hummmm i find the poetry of pablo neruda to be most
romantic. i could suggest a few but it's better if you look
at his work and pick something that fits!! he's chile's most
famous poet (he was featured promenantly in the italian film
'il postino' the last movie of the famous italian actor
massimo toirsi, rent it you and your fiancee will love it)

anyway i hope you find something and congrats!!

yeah, go for neruda. recite it in spanish too. you'll
knock her socks off :) there are many different collections
of his work. you'll find what you're after in either
'twenty love poems' or 'full woman, fleshly apple, hot moon'
i think.

il postino was a great movie too. take lecoeur's advice.

hope it goes well for you.

Suggestion:

My English is a bit shitty, so, excuse me.

The "Mise en scene" is really important:
(facing the public, do as if you were searching for
something in the sky. Don't look at yer girl, Almost ignore
her.)

text:
"I look at the sky.
searching for a star that will be mine,
searching my light, in this darkness i walk into.

(Suddenly, you take her hand...)
"There. i pick this one..."
(then, look at her as if you realize that she is not a
star.)
"Oh, im sorry, i took yer eyes for stars...
You always had those eyes? How can
parents steal all the stars of a sky to put them in eyes of
an angel?...

... pffff, fotrget it. it sound like a soap scenario...

I crave your mouth, your voice, your hair.
Silent and starving, I prowl through the streets.
Bread does not nourish me, dawn disrupts me, all day
I hunt for the liquid measure of your steps.

I hunger for your sleek laugh,
your hands the color of a savage harvest,
hunger for the pale stones of your fingernails,
I want to eat your skin like a whole almond.

I want to eat the sunbeam flaring in your lovely body,
the sovereign nose of your arrogant face,
I want to eat the fleeting shade of your lashes,

and I pace around hungry, sniffing the twilight,
hunting for you, for your hot heart,
like a puma in the barrens of Quitratue.
