china is worth discussion.

the chinese are 1/5 of world's population.
we are all surrounded by made in china products and
components, most by semi-slave children. and we can't stop
china because we consume china.

In Civilisation 2 I was getting best effects when I was
focusing on population, trading with everybody and building
lots of city improvements. All that under communism, at
least officialy. Seems like China will win.

to perform in china. he then released an album called 'THE
CONCERTS IN CHINA". although maybe he didnt perform to any
chinese people, or maybe they didnt listen

Duder,

I lived in China for a year and met a great group of people
who knew more about music than most people in the USA. They
even knew all the bands in my hometown. There are even
stores that sell imported cds... They had everything from
Tzadik CDs, Aphex to Merzbow. Most people don't yet have
enough money to buy these, but there's always soulseek.

Plus some of them were making the most wicked tunes in their
bedrooms. China has 58 ethnicities and all have their own
traditional folk musics, which can germs for a million
unthought of imaginative tracks yet to be heard. I met some
computer music guys, and also Ken Fields at the Beijing
Conservatory of Music, who was able to bring all sorts of
important professors in the field of electronic music over
to China.

Made me really think that there's people into good music all
over the world. Everything is just politics.

I wish I had met these like minded people in Egypt when I
was there earlier this year.
