is it the internet connection or the wireless?

if it's the internet connection and it just keeps dropping
out and returning with random up/down speeds, could you tell
me which modem you're using? we're having that problem with
a speedtouch 510...

It's the connection. Netgear Router. I've had the problem
before and it's from living in a village. Looking like it's
stable now.

if you look in the administration tool thingie for the dsl
modem, does it say different up/down speeds each time it
reconnects?

Yep. They've done the tests but it's a BT problem and
because it's intermittent there's nothing that can be done
because by the time the engineer comes out the problem will
have gone. It's gash. I refuse to pay £60 for an enginner
to come out and say. I see no problem. If they find a
problem I don't pay.
