while you're at it...

Limited ep as a taster for the forthcoming Urban Tribe album
on Rephlex. For those who don't know Urban Tribe was
responsible for in my opinion one of the best Detroit
records ever in the form of 'Covert Action' on the
Retroactive label, he then went on to do an album on the Mo
Wax label of downtempo bass heavy electronic hip hop that's
well worth digging the crates for, it's called ' The
Collapse of Modern Culture'.
Well the story twisted somewhat and most of you will know
him better as DJ Drexciyan Stingray, spinner of incredible
Electro sets at various raves across the planet lately.

The track titles of this EP, give away some of the feeling
of this record - make no bones about it this is made in
Detroit, titles like Biohazard 17284. Class Warfare, RNA
World express something obliquely about Environmental and
Social Concerns, virus and dna structures, The music in
return attacks with force and detail. This is a strong ep
and a taste of what to come that makes me hungry!

I feel silly for not having noticed this:

Preceding this was the 12" 'Power of the 3rd Brain'. If you
have the CD version of the album you have all that appears
here, with even a bonus vocal de void mix of 'Do You Want To
Get Down?' But if you check the titles on the 12” you’ll
see that they do not appear on the album. Sadly this does
not mean that there are two mysterious new tracks to be
found here, but only alternative titles. I think it makes
sense to match up ‘Cerebral Cortex Malfunction’ with
‘Disrupted Neutral Gateway’ as their meaning seems to
match up quite well. That would leave ‘Look Within’ to
become the 12” title track, ‘Power of the 3rd Brain’.

that have, cause the first two tracks are not on the album.

33, but I play both at that speed, I think the b side sounds
groovy at that slow pace.

I try to read a few paragraphs, but I never finish. He's a
bloody nutcase. He could probably write a 5 page essay of
why the cover of Grava 4 is silvery

I'm pretty sure I hear a default Fruity Loops preset in one
of the tracks on the URBAN TRIBE - Biohazard 17284 EP :)
