sorry , not good with html -- the version above this post is
the hi-fi version -- the other links connect to soundclicks
default lo-fi player which makes it sound like a bumble-bee
in a jam-jar --------- sorry for all the fookin around --
=)

that's a good piece. at first I thought the melody is kinda
silly, but then it evolved nicely, together with the beats.
positive tune.

Thanks gvarek -- its very very different from my usual style
( harder IDM ) and it wasnt planned -- i just went with the
flow.
were you able to get the hi-fi version or the warts n all
lo-fi craptastic version ?

I d/l the one from esnips. 128 kb/s. sounded a bit "from the
ass", but that's no surprise.

just curious but why like plaid and not something you
haven't heard before?

I didn't consciously set out to make a plaid type track ,
but , in hindsight , im thinking people who like plaid
could identify it easier cos imho its similar. a lot of
artists say " heres something you havent heard before " and
ya click it an zzzzzzzz. I just thought it might narrow my
sound down or somethin.....

gave it a listen. sounds nicely produced, melody is indeed
plaidish, if i didn't know plaid i'd rate it high :)

i like it. like gvarek said the melody develops well and
once it gets going it bounces along really nicely. it is
indeed plaid like and that is no bad thing.

drums sound too soft and fuzzy, they should be sharper. the
bass is probably muted for me because of these shitty
headphones. maybe you shouldn't listen to my comments at
all, due to this. it does remind of plaid, it also reminds
me of an artist called minikon, who's probably too obscure a
reference.

all in all, it's a nice track, i enjoyed it.

thanks Indeksical --- a bit of a departure from my normal
style but it was fun to make.

Plaidzebra -- thanks for the honesty -- i knew the drums
were a bit subdued but didnt want to say anything that might
bias someones feedback in that direction. I can handle
constructive critique ------ its very helpful to get me
where i wanna go -- thanks again !!
