well, it is the question here innit :) you know, i went to almost 2 gigs per week last year alone, and about 5 festivals (with +10 acts) so i'd say i saw 100 gigs in last year alone. infact i've been to gig of my life last night; fantomas melvins big band. just super! |

what's the difference? unless you mean live act? autechre and pusher normally do a live act while aphex djs. how can you compare that really? you can't. they're all great at what they do. |

in that case i vote aphex again, i like to hear varied stuff and he gives me just that. autechre are ace, but i'd rather listen to them in some art gallery sitting down, chilling. i haven't seen squarepusher live yet.. |

oh..well, i can't really judge stuff from recordings..it's a completly different thing live..gives you all new ideas. you have to experience it to know it imo. |

hmm, Squarepusher doesn't seem to be so popular around these parts... Saw him at the Waterfront in Norwich last autumn and it was FUCKING LEGENDARY. However as a dj, he's great fun but too obvious. I voted Autechre because you know they'd pull out something special. |
