Wouldn't it be cool if Aphex and Tom Waits made a
cooperative song?

..or maybe Aphex and Busta Rhymes..

(Anyone that digs Druqs as much as me?)

Is Tom Waits any good? I've been meaning to check him out
for ages.

What kind of stuff does he make? Is it rocky or folky?

Well.. sometimes, he makes Rock-percussion-strange music..
that's his good stuff...

Sometimes, he makes melodious stuff that doesn't fit his
voice..

Tom Waits is a fucking genious. But I don't think him and
RDJ would actually fit, you know: two great minds with their
respective singular identities. These things wouldn't mix
well, methinks (would love to see 'em prove me wrong,
though.) I think Pranksterish Busta Rhymes would fit better.

Hehe.. that would be cool!

But I think Tom Waits and Aphex(Aphex-beats and Tom's
voice??) actually could make some good stuff together.. The
same for Busta.

Who knows? Tom did a great job on Primus' "Tommy the Cat"

What did Tom Waits have to do with Tommy the Cat?

To jonesy: the voice telling the story at the beginning is
Tom waits.

Really? I bought one of their album's once. It was different
pretty crap. They are cool on the first listen but get
tedious. Its the novelty of a bass led band I guess.

I am surprised at the link. I don't know much about Tom
Waits but I thought they inhabited different worlds.

Say baby do you wanna lay down by my side?

To jonesy: sorry to hear Primus didn't do it for you. They
were really great in the early '90s but are pretty good
still, in my opinion. Their surrealist side must have been
what appealed to Tom Waits (they colaborated again on their
last album, Antipop).
