I've had one since around June... haven't had it fuck up on
me ever.

It comes with software so you can assign any midi message or
note to any pad or knob/slider

a nice features is the velocity lock, so you can play in
stuff, all at same velocities, if you want.

anyways, I love mine. I reccomend it. Its built pretty
solidly (unlike the oxygen... this seems to be more of the
build quality of the evolution stuff (which m-audio bought)
so thats nice)

korg has a new one out, korg padkontrol. the pads light up,
and there is an xy pad, but only 2 knobs, and no sliders
(and not sure if the knobs are assignable) might want to
give it a look at though, check out similiar items.
llink

also, theres the akai pad, but that has no knobs or sliders
of any kind, and ive heard people say they are pretty shit

This is a nice piece of hardware, but I prefer one with
key's rather than pads. There is one controller, I forget
who makes it, I think KORG or something. It has 16 pads,
plus 25 keys, plus faders, plus knobs. It's the best by far,
in my opinion anyways.

I dont like their pads on that... ive played with one, they
seem cheap and flimsy.

if you want all of that, check out m-audios new Axiom
link there are 2 other models with more keys.

seems more durable, and well built.
