I'm not quite sure what I'd put here myself, but.. space
travel is god damned fucking amazing.. as in just.. getting
off the face of the planet and out into space.. I don't
really care what scientific progress they've made as a
result or if there has been any, but just.. lifting off and
getting something into space is a great achievement!

corsets are a good runner-up.

I'm not sure if we actually achieved that or if it came
about on its own...

however, it is great for partying!

isn't MGS stuffed full of endless cutscenes?

not really, no. you should try it.. you just have to play
through the initial tutorials (which can make the
game seem like it's riddled with cutscenes, yes) and then
it's awesomeness (the tutorials are awesomeness too if it's
your first time). I think mgs2 has less cutscenes than the
two others, but it's a bit weaker too.. mgs3 is wonderful
and mgs4 will be the pinnacle of games!

I think MGS3 is the finest video game ever made. I cried at
the end lolz

Kojima's style is definitely not for everybody though. But I
think MGS3 was the most streamlined version of his unique
vision yet. The next gen of gaming doesn't begin until MGS4
arrives.

i dont know if you intended for people to post
items/inventions etc.

ie: 'applejuice' is not an achievement.

i don't know the answer to your question.

offline Drunken Mastah from OPPERKLASSESVIN!!! (Norway) on 2006-04-14 16:22 [#01879632]

hahaha, it's not really the most serious topic in the
history of the world... and while "applejuice" may not be an
achievement, I'd say it's somewhat implied in "applejuice"
in this context that the achievement is the production of
it.
