Chosen Lords is wonderful.

It gives me complete faith in the aphex, which 26 Mixes for
Cash and Smojphace denied me.

i found 26 mixes for cash really good...

the remix of seefeel's time to find me (first track)
is one of my favourite tracks by aphex twin, even though
it's just a remix.

(i can say the same thing about the remix of seefeel's
spangle by autechre actually...)

26 mixes on certain days does have its ups and downs

the openinging track/remix on Smojphace is utterly amazing,
and kill the place alive I and II are hit and miss

my Lazy Chosen Lords thoughts

26 mixes was my first afx cd, and i loved time to find me,
until i heard the original, which is exactly the same with
less beats and less vocals or something.

i like chosen lords too. and would have faith in afx as long
as he released more stuff.

What i mean is that i do like 26 Mixes, alot. It's just 'new
material' wise it left me a bit disalussioned. Smojphace's
remix was pretty wonderful, but there are better versions of
the same type of thing around. VSnares 'Hand Throw' for
example.

yea yea. when you say you have faith in aphex.
do you have faith in him having good stuff, or him releasing
good stuff?

I like it but as far as an Analord CD release it is a bit
weak. Its so fucking short! Generally the tracks on it are
too dynamic. I found the overall vibe of the whole 12"
series to be different because there are more subtle
slow-burners, background music that grabbed your attenion
eventually.
