this isnt good, the way i'm amassing points already.

but, anyone ever drank ayahuasca or something similar? what
was it like? i have a nice batch in the freezer but i'm too
chickenshit to try it before sufficient research has taken
place.

I'd say: dive into it like there's no tomorrow. I haven't
tried it myself, but the element of surprise could be a
reward in itself

situation!

it's never a good idea to do any drug when you're not
feeling comfortable in some way using it.

i wish i hadn't made this topic, drug talk has something sad
about it. buttts you're right, these possibly life changing
things aren't to be disrespected.

well, chances of a drug 'turning on you' are significantly
higher when you have negative feelings of any form while
taking it.

I have no idea what that is but before I do something new, I
read up on it for like a month, weigh the pros and cons, and
meditate for about an hour before I finally try it. Never
try something if the first thing you feel before doing it is
anxiety.

That stuff can be mental intense from what i hear. I
wouldn't if you're still a bit woaahhh about it all. Never
done it, but i guess high-dose salvia and DMT brews can be
compared... heh. I say wait a while, psychedelic paranoia is
fucking horrible :) Do the erowid thing then fill your mind
with sunbeams and kittens, i'm sure you know that already.

Nice to see you back, rukspoken etc

ive done it, but i wouldnt do it again. Drinking mimosa
hostillis and syrian rue can be pretty vomit-inducing.

If you can get ahold of pure DMT crystals & harmaline hcl i
recommend doing "pharmahuasca" and making a powder cocktail
in some orange juice. I hear its a lot better this way but
i have never tried it.

never had any luck smoking salvia, i suppose its the
reverse-tolerance thing, or my low sensitivity, because when
i finally felt some strange gravity i ran out of herb.

belb: rukspoken? oooohhh yeah right. *thumb up, winks*. harr
harr.

it appears my local library stocks an entire book about it,
ill get that this afternoon.

jackeroffer: from what ive read so far, some people actually
'like' the vomiting for its cleansing effect.

mine's made with b. caapi and m. hostilis. do you know which
of the 2 plants you used makes people barf their innards
out?

Hi Jeroen. Did you order a kit or something?

i can't wait to do ayahuasca myself, but when i do, i want
to do it right, ie: not by trying some half assed extraction
of some herbs, when in reality it contains so much more.
There are organised ayahuasca rituals, even in the
netherlands, but you need to know some people.

What are your motives anyway? I think Ayahuasca should be
seen as a final possible solution for complete and utter
mental isolation from which you have to break free.
Personally, i think something in my head is locked, and
maybe ayahuasca can unlock it. However, it's all bollocks if
you aren't mentally prepared and the only way you can
prepare is by reading books, and hoping that ayahuasca will
somehow come to you.

Keep us updated.

ps: read 'the cosmic serpent' by jeremy narby.

uuhm a friend ordered a load, gave me 2 baggies with said
plants. i tried to do my extraction as good as possible, 4
extractions with hot acidic water, boiled all the fractions
down to 400 ml. I've been looking into the sainto daime
church in Den Haag, but they sprinkled christianity all over
their rituals which puts me off.

I'm not doing it for fun, thats for sure. I dont even do
shrooms for fun (my first trip wasn't all that nice, i cried
half of the time but felt amazing afterwards) (by the way do
you grow yours PF-tek style with rice cakes or did you ever
try using a big crate full of substrate? i'll try that
soon.), these substances are for self-exploration and
understanding. I dont have much mental problems (the
isolation you speak of).. My motives are personal growth.

I met a guy in guatemala who was on his way
to the peruvian jungle to spend a couple of weeks with
a tribe to prepare for taking that stuff.

I took San Pedro in Peru which was no way near
as powerful as ayahuasca but even then, there was
still preparation and guidance throughout the experience...

which i would recommend.

Yeah me and j198 were chatting about this. The retreat thing
would be amazing indeed - once in a lifetime I'm sure

Check this out, haven't read it yet, a bookmark I'd
