The Washington Times reports that US Government scientists have begun swapping the genes of the H5N1 avian flu virus with the genes of the common H3N2 human flu virus. The goal is to create a bird flu virus that could spread easily among humans. |

Washington times is one of the many papers that have CIA submitted articles. Wish I had some past examples but if you do a little research into the subject you will learn for yourself. The last paragraph ... "The work responds to fears by global public health experts that the bird flu virus could mutate to form one that could spawn a global outbreak of the disease." seems to be a happy ending to an alarming story... Should really say "So be happy that white people will be able to kill non white people for cheaper!" |

Rumsfeld is still making millions off Tamiflu through Gilead shares. Now, Tamiflu itself is not a real cure (says WHO etc.). Luckily there's no pandemic, huh? Maybe due to the revitalization of the Spanish flu virus in Pentagon-funded labs in Atlanta, in 2003, a year before the recent outbreaks, a man-made reintroduction of a historical disease has been brought about, wittingly or unwittingly... Certainly Time and others have made articles where the connection between the 1918 strain (H1N1?) and the 2006 strain (H5N1) has been explored. At any rate, knowing the track record of places like Fort Dietrich, Maryland - the place where the Anthrax samples of the 2001 scare came from (probably intended to scare the congress into shifting gears towards Iraq) - it would not suprise me if one of these "fail-safe" labs would leak these new viruses like swiss cheese. After all, a human pandemic is a desideratum for some. Anyway, it's all very ha ha isn't it? |

Until it's mutated and they can get a look at it properly they can't make any vaccines. I doubt the US is the only country that's been messing about with H5N1 lately. |
