To bring up some issues already, only 25 minutes into the
movie:

The insurance to cover terroist attacks- wouldn't you want
this if you were renewing your lease on one of the major
landmarks in the biggest city in the most hated western
country in the world?

Do you think it would be normal for the biggest producer of
commercial airliners to just give out engineering
information about their planes to some 14-year-old kid who
calls on the phone? I don't get it...

Not to mention that I have no faith whatsoever in the
credibility of this documentary. Suggestions: 1. Get a
narrator who doesn't sound like Peter Brady from "The Brady
Bunch." 2. Don't use music by DJ Skooly, Nick Tha 1Da, and
Smoke, and 3. Don't act like you know everything about
something which you don't. Get an expert to talk about this
stuff.

And to whoever said Wikipedia is the least reliable source
of information, do you realize that they just SHOWED a page
from that website in their documentary? Or did I just blow
your mind? That just happened.

Loose Change is a great documentary that asks some important
questions. I'm not saying that you should believe it all but
there is undoubtedly something fishy about 9/11. Just watch
it! And watch some of the other critical 9/11 docs asking
similar questions....

Something fishy is the wrong term for a controlled
demolition of the world trade center with thousands of
people inside it. That's called, "Hey, I'm fucking nuts and
I'll believe ANYTHING!!!" I'm sorry, but you're gonna have
to show me more than a interview with a crazy janitor and
windows breaking out due to the pressure of the collapse to
convince me that this was a demolition.

What's with the attitude!? Look at the facts! A building
like that won't come down in a few seconds because of a
plane crash...

Nothing about why they couldn't have collapsed because of
the fire or the crash was fact in that video. All they had
were past instances where fire didn't collapse a building,
and a plane didn't collapse a building, but no facts
whatsoever. They just rely on contradictory claims about
something that has never happened before, then inserted
their conspiracy theory between them.

I'm finished arguing about this, but just know that i think
this is a load of utter bullshit that some kids came up with
and decided to make a movie about. You can believe it all if
you want and look silly the next time you bring it up, but
personally, not going to happen. There were definately some
things that didn't line up about what happened with those
events, and we'll probably never know the whole truth, but
to suggest conspiracies of this magnitude is stupid and
irresponsible.

I'm tired of this discussion as well... but what I think is
really irresponsible is to dismiss the material in LC and
similar movies as "a load of utter bullshit that some kids
came up with and decided to make a movie about".

My brother still believes in UFOs.

That a government coverup is involved in every facet, a la
whatever crap is talked about on shows such as Coast to
Coast.

He's pushing forty. It can be scary to hear him talk about
it with such passion and belief.

A kid who works in the videostore was talking with his
colleague about how mindblowing this was. He recommended it
to me then managed to put 3 (of the wrong discs) into the
box of a 4 disc box set. Speaks volumes about the
intelligence and awareness of the sort of people who believe
this.

i think it's (sortof) clear that many people knew about 9/11
before it happened, because of some obscure financial
transactions the days before and the day it happened. the
rest of the claims should be analysed by scientists.

anyway... maddox posted a comment on this. it's funny as
always.

I think all the videos are going to be released sooner then
we think with fantastic CG and other photoshopped fixes.

"I think less energy should be spent trying to get people
to
take accountability for what happened, and more should be
spent on figuring out healthy ways to deal with it. Its
pretty much accepted that the US government had a bigger
hand in the events than they are willing to admit."

I totally agree, it's not like this is a surprise or
anything.

I think it is a good video, but pretty soon is going to be
Debunked (with or truth or lies on or the other) very soon.

If you guys havn't noticed, the past few TERROR attacks have
been made by TEENAGERS or YOUNG MEN who spend a lot of time
on the INTERNET watching CONSPIRACY VIDEOS.

Now this isn't conspiracy, this is just common sense. Lets
say you did pull a huge fucking scam like what loose change
presents us with. Your going to try and

AHEM

DE FRANCHISE people who beleive this cause. So now the big
trend is COMPUTER KIDS are a potential threat to our
liberties.

This helps the government fight their WAR on terror by
arresting people as THREATS who pass around information
like this and also help it helps BIG BUSINESS INTERNET
PROVIDERS lobby to PRIVATIZE THE INTERNET.

It's common sense, not conspiracy, if you were in their
positions, what would be the most logical ways to mend these
issue?

But yeah the video was ok, but would be more creditable to
the non beleivers if say, MORGAN FREEMAN or something
narated. But the fact that it was to teenagers with some bad
music by a guy name DJ whatever... kind of pisses in the
punch bowl.

it's clear there was foreknowlege and it was let go ahead.

it just pisses me off that documentaries like this one
allege that bush or the bush administration had a direct
role in the attack's planning..

elusive - there are huge elements of the official story that
are just not possible. i know if anyone i knew had been
murdered that day i'd want to know the truth, and i think
they would too... regardless of how much it scares you.

why is it so hard to believe that if you crash a 747 loaded
with jet fuel into a building it might fall down?

offline chambre noire from Iceland on 2006-08-20 01:58 [#01956922]

it fell after burning for like 60 min and the other tower
for like 100 min. most of the fuel burned up in the initial
impact explosion. no other steelframed structures have ever
collapsed from fire, even when burning for days (like the
building in madrid last year). loads of people also reported
explosions from inside the building.

and what about building 7? it never got hit by an airplane
and yet it collapses like it was a controlled demolition.
check out this video. see the top middle collapsing
first? that's how controlled demolitions are done. you blow
up the central columns so that it pulls the sides onto
itself, to minimize chance of damaging buildings around it
and it leaves a nice pile of shit. we also have larry
silverstein (owner of WTC1+2+7) admitting to have
deliberatly destroyed it ("the smartest thing it to pull
it"), check it out.

plus the engineers that designed the buildings designed it
so that the twin towers would take multiple passenger jet
hits, it was a lattice work of steel

because they are designed not to.

the Titanic was designed to not sink.

ok ok fine. it's so much easier to believe that a
demolition team wired up both towers and building 7 during
the building's off hours, then blew it up and are now
keeping quiet about it. to cut steel they needed a special
explosive made by nasa:

from implosionworld.com Concrete columns are generally
easier to destroy, and usually require a small amount of
conventional dynamite packed into specially drilled holes.
Steel beams, however, require a very high-velocity explosive
to perform a 'cutting' action through the steel. A
specialized explosive called RDX, made famous by NASA’s
space program, is used to perform this task. This
copper-encased explosive is physically attached to the beam,
and upon detonation 'slices' at an incredible 27,000 feet
per second. A small amount of conventional dynamite is also
attached to the beam to 'kick' it out of place so the
structure will fall uniformly, in a direction predesignated
by the blaster.

so yeah i believe that some guy at NASA sold them enough RDX
to collapse the buildings and is also keeping quiet about
it.

that makes so much more sense.

professor Steven E. Jones from Scholars For 9/11 Truth come
over some samples of the metal that was salvaged from the
WTC wrecks and used to build these memorials sculptures that
are scattered around the U.S. see his paper on the matter.

he has found residue of thermite and thermate
(sulphur+thermite) on all the samples he has recieved from
people all over the States. thermite is used to cut large
steel pieces. i recommend you to see his lecture on
video google!

the titanic didn't sink, the government hijacked the ship to
do LSD experiments on the passengers even though LSD wasn't
invented yet all the evidence is there...

umm contradictory argument right there, so RDX is needed to
collapse a building yet with just plane fuel both towers
fell?

What's your take on why tower 7 collapsed?
The owner admited it was brought down didn't he?

here is a far more reasonable explaination of why the towers fell.

it doesn't require a mass consperiacy, or invisible
demolition elves.

i was just commenting on your own RDX comment.

yeah ok it's a good one tho not a definitive study, it
leaves open questions with attemps at answering them, also
leaves some other doubts unanswered, like why the
significant difference of time between getting hit by a
plane and collapsing for each tower, this is an important
question. still doesn't say anything about WTC7. still maybe
a better answer is that there were explosives inside the
towers? this could also part of the terrorist plan, it
doesn't mean a mass conspiracy.

Many people saw the events as something very hollywood-esque
(plus/minus the word montage) like something that was made
for the TV, eliminating the 'randomness' factor that should
be observed in such events.
