small fucking world, i tells ya.

so, i'm up in sydney, over 1000km away from my home city on
some work at the moment, and entirely randomly decide to go
out to this small electronica/noise night i hear about from
a record store i'd visited that day.

end up towards the end of the night (which was pretty
fucking rad) talking to two guys about various things, turns
out they've only recently come over here from ireland.
eventually after chatting quite a bit the subject of
afx/squarepusher/ae/etc is brought up. evidently we both
share quite a passion for these artists, and the mention of
"internet forums" was brought up, so i ask these guys if
they're on any boards; and sure enough, we're fellow
xlt'ians.

supposedly they'd decided to randomly go out too; their
first night out in australia since they've been here. i
didn't even know keyfumbler was here (but do remember him
making a thread last year about it).

amazingly stupid chances of something like this happening,
but you hear of this sort of thing all the time!
