i'm a fan of jager bombs, myself, actually. they make me go crazy kind of, takes me 7 shots and about 4 whole redbulls to get drunk. so i get really hyper. this was pointless but i'm gonna post it anyways. |

jägermeister and chartreuse really taste quite different if you ask me... i like a little bit of chartreuse but can't drink too much, otherwise it makes me sick. (i like the colour of it a lot by the way, and until last year i could find chartreuse-flavoured italian chocolates at the christmas market.... i hope they'll have some again, they tasted lovely. (they have a picture of a witch on the wrapper)) i've heard that jägermeister could be compared to génépi. but i haven't tasted génépi yet. |

yes yes, they're not quite the same, but they are both alpine herbal liqueurs and are in the same ballpark. i've never heard of chartreuse flavored ice cream or chocolates, makes my mouth water! because chartreuse is so strongly flavored it generally fries my mouth to the point that i can't taste before i drink enough to get sick. but i've done that once anyway. round where i live a large bottle of green chartreuse (the yellow is milder and slightly less alcoholic) costs about $35, so it's not exactly expensive. by "poor man's" i really meant that jagermeister is good, and chartreuse is excellent. |

I LOVE Jager... When its been chilled long enough, its soooo good. Here in SoCal, some bars get away with charging like 7-8 dollars per shot. Not from my fucking wallet I say mate! |
