although I am still mourning the death of my Zen Sleek which went out with a bang (literally!), I have decided the time is ripe for the final showdown between these two giants of the mp3 industy. It will be a bloody battle to the end of the thread, Golden Axe style until there is a final Victor - all votes count. NB. Once this thread is over, the banter of iPod owners who are design mad against those who prefer the sound quality of the Zen will finally be over. Who shall prevail? You decide. |

I'm not sure what we're supposed to be doing here... ...but i have an i-pod mini..and hate it... I want it dead. Only one headphone works and the wires have split,and the battery doesn't hold any power.I've only had a year.fucking thing.I want a creative zen thingy...but i know nothing about Mp3's players...or really what we're discussing here.I just thought i'd let you know i hate my i-pod.Alot. -A- |

I also realllly fucking hate I-tunes...I have the same like,100 songs i first loaded up on there,and haven't changed them because i hate I-tunes that much.I haven't even loaded it onto my new computer.... This shows how little i use my i-pod. -A- |

I like my iPod. It's the perfect weight (for my pocket) and the size is perfect (for my pocket) and the only times I've had a problem with it are because I've done something stupid like disconnecting it before it was ready etc. NEver used a Zen so can't comment but I don't own one so they suck cock like a 4th grader. |

Nevermind the iPod. Its biggest sales factor is the 'awesome' list of accesories! According to a local dealer... iAudio is the best the market has to offer right now. The sound on this thing is superior even to the magnificent Sony's (which everyone hates because you can't get pictures on it boohoo and it requires SonicStage.. A pity) iAudio |

Never heard of them but when my iPod packs up I'll be sure to check them out. Can't stick with the same brand all the time. The first 100gig+ I hear of is probably getting my vote though :D |

Well not under every circumstances of course, but that's no argument for buying equipment of lesser quality for the same price or more expensive. On train rides (which take up 80% of the time I spend listening to music on the device) there is definitely a remarkable difference, I assure you. Also, don't buy secondgrade in-ears :P |
