not "will break", there's nothing dodgy about it

they've changed to the intel chipset architecture, so what's
there to worry about? it's just like installing another x86
compatible OS on your box, as long as you're certain your
critical devices will be compatible with windows

Nothing dodgy apart from the fact that the new Intel Macs
don't use BIOS, they use EFI instead. EFI is not supported
at all by XP and won't be supported by the 32bit version of
Vista. This verison running on the Mac has been done by
hacking the boot section of XP SP2 to work around the BIOS
problem and as such will only work with SP2. It would be
the easiest thing in the world for Microsoft to implement a
'security update' to fuck it up again, which in short would
mean a bunch of unpatchable XP's running on Macs, which is
pointless and shit. Microsoft will break it in the same way
the hackers have broken the law in making modifications to
the Windows code (which is dodgy).

Well, when XP stops being shit and OS X stops being good, I
might want to run XP on my mac.

Probably when hell freezes over, innit
