Weird Autechre related thing!!!

Check this out:

From a Natalie Imbruglia Interview:

rootnode: I've read that you have sort of an embarassing CD
collection. Name 5 CD's that you are most ashamed of and say
why you bought them.

Nat: Ok. Five. here goes.

1001 Pianos: "How Many Pianists Does It Take To Screw In A
Light-bulb? 1001!". I bought this album because I was
reading an article on 1001 Pianos before they played at the
Sydney Olympics and I noticed that one of the guys in the
band has the same last name as me. Imbruglia's pretty
uncommon... Anyway, being a paranoid music nut with too many
gift certificates I thought, "Maybe he's related!", bought
the CD, and well, it's really really terrible!

Jimmy Ray: "Jimmy Ray". He was on Leno the same night as me.

Ink and Dagger: "Ink and Dagger". I only bought this because
someone from Buddyhead.com emailed me and said I should. It
sucks.

C+C Music Factory... I really love "Everybody dance now",
dancing to it, it's a great song, and it's so VIBRANT that
it seems to touch on the very nature of the human spirit.
But, I seem to be the only one who thinks so. :) Also,
"Things that make you go hmm" reminds me of one of my past
relationships. I like to listen to it when I'm in a
relationship because it grounds me and keeps me on my toes.

Autechre: "EP7". I know, I know. Minimalist British techno
is so 1994, but this record just gets into my bones and
ensures that my day will be happy. It's a great Christmas
morning album. December-ee.

Minimalist British techno????...EP7?????...I think someone
swapped her copy with something else!!!! A Christmas morning
album indeed. She's read about the album in a Radiohead
interview and decided to use it...she really meant 2
unlimited.

yeah, yeah... its hillarious, I know.... to my defense I can
say that having two small children tunes your sex life down
to a bare minimum so you really don't go around worrying
about getting hold of birth control all the time, and bang,
there you are, expecting yet again....

autechre at the moment, so this is awesome news! He is
releasing a new record these days...I'm still waiting for my
copy... Andrew Hill is the Autechre of avantgarde jazz scene
of the 60's and 70's. He is THE MAN!

I see.

And Sidsel is quite soft for sure... but good... I recommend
"Undertow", her first album for Jazzland with Bugge
Weseltoft and Nils Petersen... Dododo is my fav song of
hers.
Norwegian jazz at it's best!

You're just gutted that an ex-pop pin up who makes dross
music herself actually has half-decent taste in the music
she buys. If EP7 is one of the records she's ashamed of, the
rest of her collection must be shit-hot IDM. I bet her music
business contacts have opened doors for her and she has
original copies of AB5, Melodies from Mars, Acid Memories,
Hooper Bay, etc.

I don't know who the fuck this lady is, but it pisses me off
when people don't get autechre and then they talk about how
stupid or shit it is.

I brace myself everytime I hear someone say "So do you

She looks like an anorexic Angelina Jolie. I hate her.
