Imagine that there was a weird temporal rift/time warp
thing and RDJ was stuck in the style of a particular period
e.g. the ICBYD style, SAW2 + On, Drill & Bass, Acid/Techno,
etc. which *ONE* would you choose. By this I mean he would
just make that sort of music for the rest of his career.

I would have to say his ICBYD period.

And no choosing Drukqs as that is just a cop-out catch all!

ICBYD... there are songs I dislike on the album, but the
other ones are excellent... more of ICBYD style music would
be great!!!

What if RDJ was sent back 200 years in a temporal rift!?
would he influence Beethoven!? what about 2000 years!
would he change Roman society with his music? would all of
Western civilization be different? would we still exist?

£T¡?t to think about that. thats a terrible
hypothetical.

the RDJ body of work is greatly enhanced by the levels of
variety and evolution it has offered.

I feel like SAW85-92 was a gateway into new sounds where he
was casting of the shackles of a lot of cultural oppressive
stigma and going apeshit with any noise that tooted his
horn.

Its like a walk down a rabbit hole.

its cool though that not many people are fortunate enough to
hear such i wonderful album. (with their simple minds and
all) i feel blessed with a few aphex albums. and i know you
feel the same. you must cheerish what richard came out
with, because the songs he created has changed the way you
look at life, and the way that you are.
