off Boomkat:....
"....rather than just sellotape the source material into
some semblence of running order, AFX has set about
resculpting the originals into leaner beasts; trimming abit
here, adding something there - with the overall appeal of an
anologue tornado lessened thanks to some wise
ommissions....."
possible repost.
(no one ever reads my posts anyway, grumble grumble)

So the tracks are edited?

"with the overall appeal of an anologue tornado lessened
thanks to some wise ommissions" that doesn't make sense? The
appeal is lessened by wise omissions?

Maybe if you goddman copied and pasted rather than retyped
it

Rather than just sellotape the source material together into
some semblance of a running order, AFX has set about
resculpting the originals into much leaner beasts; trimming
a bit here, adding something there - with the overall
appearance of an analogue tornado lessened thanks to some
wise ommisions.

I've heard bits and it sounds, well...better! and i loved it
before. a few more beats and analord one, one of my faves
sounds quite diff. I hoped he would do this, kind of more
digital

is he going to retouch them so they're good songs now,
instead of bad?

digital is a word isn't it. Yeah, and I know he did
some/alot of it on equipment copying the old analogue
equipment, just meant it sounded less old fashioned. Fucking
trolls! You lot need some lovin'!

i would prefer him to do a drum n bass album and mash up de
dancefloor, bred, seen. A hip hop hater as well. Cuz it's
all about the bling baby. Anyways, you're uptight so i guess
that's kinda gangster

I think it means his on a diet. cut out the fizzy drinks.
Tap water innit. Just dry bread. more efficient, more
modern. like prison food, cuz that's ghetto, and we all
ghetto seen? Orwells vision of us all being in lockdown; I
think that's what the albums about don't you? Gets me blud?

Next EPs about communism/dictatorships/terror mongerers, and
each track tells a different viewpoint as a character,
through sound. Called 'Analord Farm' innit. heard it here
first

nah, id prefer things along the lines of fenix funk or
cilonen

i find analord to be the worst record campaign of all
time...

not that acid has ever done anything for me before, but hey

i hear there's another volume of eps called 'marvellous
caid' with reputedly several thousand "acid jungle" tracks.
95% are supposed to be remixes that sound nothing like the
originals.

Then after that he's writing a play with arch-scum Doherty,
about the perils of growing up in a modern tabloid-centric
society, called 'Baby Lords'. Cuz celebrities our royalty
these days innit

doherty was supposed to show but he had crashed out on
gunpowder and heroin in the lobby

Analord Farm, oh.. he missed out on calling the album that.
Chosen Lords is just.. awkward sounding title. All tracks on
all albums are chosen,.. oh well, another enigma to ponder
in idle hours.

fenix funk and cilonen are the only ones i listen to, and
VERY in-frequently...

the whole collection is really forgettable and does nothing
for me

which SUCKS

i was really in the mood for new aphex

as well as autechre
and boc

and all three let me
down...zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz...

"aphex twin, morrissey & robert fripp - having a wank with
my glasses on" is supposedly his project after the remaining
lord ventures... i'm very excited, allegedly they're all
going to pose in circlejerk photos for the cover art. the
"upcoming" hit single "vincent gallo is a cunt v39 zlagrefx"
has already been announced.

Don't worry if you didn't like his last stuff. all the
warp/rephlex community are just finalising production on a
new saturday night reality game show where you have to vote
them off in consequtive till we get a winner. It's calle
'Digitally Come Trancing', should be good.
