2 soundcards in traktor

right, i swapped my firewire audiophile for a tascam US122
due to unforseen IEEE1394 shaped problems, but ive now just
realised that this interface doesn't have enough outputs to
be able to preview and cue tracks through headphones on
traktor, which is fucking annoying.

so i downloaded ASIO4ALL v2 to allow my onboard NVidia
soundcard to be used as well with traktor, but i can't for
the life of me set this damn thing up.

i have my Tascam 'running' and my NVidia 'available' in
ASIO4ALL, then I open traktor and choose Preferences- >
Audio Setup -> Soundcard -> Audio Device -> ASIO4ALLv2.

now Output Routing, what do i choose as my Monitor and my
Master? i only seem to have 2 channels available to choose
from as before.. US-122 Out 1 and US-122 Out 2. wheres my
nvidia?

blue pancakes for anyone who can help me out

switch track 0UH887, defuse left bank channel OS 8/9-00/P,
connect green to blue wire, open hatch and upload.

hope this helps.

traktor doesnt support multiple sound cards, unless you knew
that

yeah i know, but ASIO4ALL apparently lets you use 2
simultaneously... you introduce some latency from what i
understand but i wanna give it a go anyway

i thought that might be what that did, I asked this question
before and nobody ever told me of a way to use separate
cards, would be very handy if I could do it (on mac)

I think what user J189 was trying to suggest, was you
need to open up your computer, cut all the resistors off
your audiocards, while audio is going through it, then
format your c: drive and replace it with windows 95. After
doing that, take a pancake, smother it in syrup, and put it
in your cd-rom drive.

That should solve all your problems.

it sucks.. and it sucks even more when you know that the
shitty atomix thing actually do support two cards.

cheers matey, that worked a treat, in fact it worked better
than expected, i'm now running 5 soundcards all at the same
time (very loud), but my cd-rom drive doesn't seem to want
to open.

Glad I could be of service. :)

My next lesson will be on how to score on your first date.
Its pretty much the same, exept you need roofies.
