i'd like to know what artists you've seen live. perhaps
we'll narrow it down to electronica (sort of) artists. it's
ambitious, i know.

well, here goes...

biosphere
dj aphex twin (twice)
goldie
royksopp
ralph myerz & the jack herren band.
orangebox :)
trulz & robin
calyx
teebee (twice)

norway sucks.

oh you geeks, go see music thats actually played LIVE. im
not dissin, but seeing squarepusher stand at his laptop for
an hour plus while occasionally getting out his bass jam
isnt my idea of showmanship.

great bands live: !!!, toots and the maytals, george clinton
and p-funk, tool, pixies, just about any decent punk.

you can imagine what a crowd-pleaser CREAM is and how people
react to "Clan in da front, let your feet stomp
Niggaz on the left, brag shit to death
Now hoods on the right, wild for the night
Punks in the back, c'mon and attract to..."

aw crap, spoke too soon.

seeing all this old skool hip hop talk, i retract the geeks
comment.

squarepusher is still a tad boring tho.

most wish-id-seen-it-when-i-could: rage against the machine
touring with cypress hill. oh goooood do i wish i could have
seen that. oh yeah, either that or woodstock i guess.

well, we were sort of asked to name electronic artists only
so..

my favourite music gigs are the ones played live, though i
like to dance here and there as well and electronica seems
most appropriate for that :)

he was ace. im not that big fan of his recorded stuff, but
live thing was just ace. it was a combo of djing and laptop.
he was rearanging songs quite a bit, played lots of stuff,
the most awesomenest parts were those where he was mixing
squarepusher. he played a really long set and when he
fisnished people cheered for more, so he apologised for
running out of music and just started playing same stuff
again. really a nice guy.
