5 tracks - vaguely drum-and-bass beats on the first 4 with
an ambient finishing track. but its recognisably him - hes
developed his own style

it's probably too lame to make a "c&c music factory" remark

but still,...somebody had to do it

why just 'clark', seems a bit daft considering another warp
artist has used this name aswell

this album is weird. but I like it.
Urgent Jell Hack is cool. sounds quite fresh. not the jungle

urgent jell hack sound like a crapy lo-fi breakcore track
enhanced with steroids...yeah something like that. I dig
this.

the melody in herr bar is amazing - that BOC-style old
out-of-tune toy wind-up music box effect thing.

fall in line

i listened to this on a friend's recommendation, but it felt
pretty transparent to me. not bad, but...
transparent. listening to it felt like listening to an old
idm record i knew by heart and got somewhat "worn out"
already. "Frau Wav" had an excellent beginning, though a
little bit reminiscent of Plaid somewhat, which could have
evolved into a really great track - but then somewhat faded
into transparency as well, by taking too "generic" idm
directions (the way i feel it). "Fermium" by Autechre had
the same "problem" by the way - a good, catchy loop/melody,
wasted because of a merely average devlopment afterwards.
"Dusk Swells" is pretty nice.

now maybe it will grow on me - this feeling of transparency
sometimes happens on first listens. but maybe i'll totally
forget about this release. perhaps if i had heard it a few
years earlier, i would have found it a little gem too...
