taste, but I do like the tracks Isopropanol, Polynomial-C,

the remixes are a bit weak (he had to do them as a favour
for tom middleton) but all the original traks are lush:
quite good to listen to but if you actually play them at a
club you realise how good they are: the production is
actually perfect to play on large cabs so get a vinyl copy
now!!!!

enough credit

offline steve mcqueen from caerdydd (United Kingdom) on 2018-06-13 22:48 [#02554076]

metapharstic and dodecca, and isopropanol
those tracks are not really like any others that he's
done..
mbe a couple on the soundcloud dump get close to that vibe,
evil repetitive electronic funk. I tried to make a playlist
of tracks of his like that a while ago - it had Xepha and
Polygon window untitled on it - otherworldly tracks

offline steve mcqueen from caerdydd (United Kingdom) on 2018-06-13 22:52 [#02554077]

yeah otherworldly is a good decription, reminds me of being
on a totally barren alien world, tunnel system or some sort

yeah a lot of aphex early stuff reminds me of tunnels and
railway cuttings with bracken and moss hanging off, I really
don't know why

yes it feels long ago and close to me simultaneously, its
weird I seem to be able to remember my childhood with better
clarity than when I was in my early 20s I was majorly
depressed back then everything is grey and merges together

i got done for shoplifting from virgin when i was 13, most
of the cds were in that twatty anti-theft case they could
only open at the till though. hmv was the bonanza, got a
good grand's worth before I got nicked, haha
