i've just found out that this release existed...
it's a 4-cd box set of cocteau twins' non-album tracks.
(limited edition, don't know if it's still available.)

info

does anyone have this here?

it's readily available where i live (middle of us), i just
saw it in the shop yesterday. i have most of what's on it
already, so i wouldn't buy it, but i'd say if you like the
cocteau twins and don't have the majority of what's on these
discs, it's absolutely essential. some of their best work,
i think, but i notice that there are some annoying
omissions: "dials," "crushed," "the high monkey monk" and
the instrumental version of "oomingmak" (unreleased or
compilation tracks that were included in the ep box set from
fifteen years or so back). but i suppose there's always a
sin of omission with this type of compilation.

Glad you ask uzim. I have it and I love it. All songs are
remastered and sound wonderful. I'm pleased to see that we
have some Cocteau fans here.

Do you have the "Violaine" and "Tishbite" singles? I'd love
to have those, mostly because of the cover art. But they
quickly became unavailable. The prints were quite limited;
not mentioning "Snow" of course...

yeah i have all 4 singles
violane green and purple
and
tishbite orange and blue

each one only has 3 tracks on it, the single and 2 b-sides.
but it adds up to 8 total unique b-sides.

i recommend it if only because the box set
reissues of their eps and singles from 1991
wasnt it is mastered differently than the new
remasters of their lps and if youre like me
you like to queue the whole discography to
gether and this set rectifies those disparities.

i agree, in the days before mp3 players, queueing up all
those tracks was a total pain.

one thing is for certain, for a band with so much internal
strife, they were damn prolific. dangerous for a poor
college kid with his first credit card.

it would be nice to have this one. i really like their

overseas of course. that sucks.
