So if i want to mess with loads of midi controls in Reason, do i need to have a midi controller AND a *seperate* midi keyboard? I have an o2 midi keyboard but i can't seem to assign the midi controls on it successfully. Any ideas?
Also, does anyone know where i can find a (preferably free) pitch bend vst? I have one already, but it only shifts the pitch, i can't do gradual pitch changes. I used to be able to in cubase, but im using DP4.5 now.
Thanks in advance.

Madshifta does bending and stepping of pitch.
No, you don't need two. But Maudio controllers are notorious for not working well after a year or so.

Also, make sure your drivers are set up properly, and that they have support for your audiocard. Update your controllers midi drivers regularly. Also make sure that reason has the proper controller selected. Also make sure that the knobs and sliders you are tweeking are assigned to a midi cc#, cause otherwise your not sending any data to reason.

ok so i can now assign my midi controllers to reason no probs. THe issue i now have, is that for some reason, each midi control is already assigned to a specific part of reason.
I can assign it to other controls, but it never gets rid of the original control. ie, it originally controls A, i set it to B, then it controls A and B.
If i disable midi controls, it still controls A.
Ideas?

The midi implementation in Reason has never been great. Not a patch on Floops in that respect, IMO.
