Not sure if this has been posted before.

trailer

This is promising, doesn't seem like all the other video
game to movie crap ass renditions. And Akira Yamaoka doing
the music?! :D

Old news but good news, it's definitely shaping up to be the
best gametomovie adaptation ever. I'm actually excited to
see it, not apprehensive. And yeah Yamaoka is going to raise
the roof.

The monsters look cool.

PYRAMID HEAD OMGZ

I can't wait for this movie. I hope it's as splendid as it
looks to be and I hope it's a big hit, the franchise needs a
swift kick in the hiney to get it back on track after the
justkindaOK Silent Hill 4.

another fuckin scary article posted by someone on that
site:

tar creek time bomb

"The water, which started flowing in 1978, will not stop. It
comes from the tunnels of interconnected lead and zinc mines
that reach like the tentacles of an octopus across 40 square
miles underneath Oklahoma and Kansas. When work in the mines
ended more than a dozen years ago, the miners shut off the
pumps. The tunnels filled with water. The water turned to
acid."

All this disaster stuff is really fascinating. I always get
drawn into stories of the chernobyl disaster. Its extremely
sobering.

What was up with that bit towards the end, with all those
people and her saying "it's comming!" ?

I hoped it would remain very isolated like the game-just
you, the world, and a few nutcase characters popping in and
out every so often. No armies, thankyou-even if they're
zombie armies (I couldn't really tell...)
