RE:Questions about Yamaha EZ-EG Midi Guitar.
I have just ordered one from the states and expect it here in about 2 weeks. I have been playing around with a Yamaha SHS-10 Keytar for a while but I'm not really into keyboards.
Picked up a new laptop to try out the latest midi softeware as well. Can't wait to get it all together.
I will post my progress here for anyone interested. (malcolm)

So this is the thread where people come if they have questions regarding the Yamaha EZ-EG? A place to hang out and check your progress?
I fear a flop, malc.

Because of this feature, hammer-ons and pull-offs are quite realistic, an elusive characteristic in guitar-midi controllers. The only problem is that you can't pull-off to an open string, it simply results in a note off.
haha.. that's quite a disadvantage!

There are plenty of ways to turn a guitar into a midi controller.
Anyways, want to give me your roland shs10?
