Don`t you think it`s cute?
My problem is who is the author of this picture? I think
this photo/picture is preaty famous. After tragedy in
Poland(bulding collapsed with many people inside[it was a
birds dispaly]) one of the magzines in Poland has
it on it`s cover. I`ve searched the magizne but there are no

also: rammstein

This choice of cover was one of the most disappointing
things Polityka did since I remember reading it. Tasteless
symbolism.

But indeed it's the same picture.

did v snares even know the magazine was published?

by the looks of it, this guy took a photo for fun, displayed
it amongst his personal website (wherever it is) and hosted
it, then v snares used it.

i don't know if v snares knew it was related with this amss
murder thing, if he did, it wouldn't suprise me.

i think he's all cought up on trying to create publicity
with these schemes of his, why else would he use so many of
that cartoonists images on his albums?.. He knows that most
people find it offencive and/or explicity suggestive.

either way, it is a shame, but it doesn't bother me much,
music is music...

I think it credits the guy for the photo in the cd booklet

The booklet for "Rossz..." just mentions the site
birds.co.uk, and a guy named Tim as an author of the photo.

i now get that that guy, an amateur, took a famous picture

also that hasn't got anything to do with that tragedy (i
thought the birds flew up when it collapsed, or something)

To jest akurat bardzo dobry numer. Swietny artykul
Zakowskiego o psychologicznych uwarunkowaniach sympatii
politycznych. :-)

Umieszczajac ta fotke na okladce i tak dobrze wybrneli z
calej sytuacji. Moze i symbolizm jest "tasteless", ale
zdjecie - nie.

Rosz is a rather sad and symbolic album about having lost
something and felling sad and allienned so in my opinion
picture is just perfect.

That was a pigeon exhibition. More than 60 bird enthusiasts
died when the roof collapsed. Those birds which were lucky
did actually fly out of the rubble, so the photo is kind of
appropriate, but sentimental journalists were going in
lengths about souls flying away to heaven and such. Well, I
just don't like such gibberish.

_gvarek_: I didn't read Zakowski's article this time, I
think i didn't even notice it. But the interview with Zoll
and the piece on religion in school kind of scared me.

a purist will argue that the photo was wrong for not having
been taken there, a decent western paper would not do this

erm, you could actually send a letter to the magazine
complaining about that this isn't just sentimental poo but
factually incorrect
also: the photographer should get money for this

You can argue that the photo was just supposed to set the
mood and there isn't really a word in the magazine that this
is a photo from the site. Actually it was already completely
dark when the accident happened so it is kind of obvious.
Just a mood-setting photo, like a waving flag or a cloudy
evening sky.

Do you think the photographer didn't get money for this? If
so, why?

magazine..
im not sure, maybe ask him
maybe he'll sue your whole country though so think about it
first

didnt you check out this site.

'Pigeons

Took this shot in London. Last year got an email from Planet
Mu records as a drum 'n' bass artist had seen it on my site
and wanted to use it for his album cover. It's not exactly
the kind of stuff I'd really listen to, but I do like some
of it which is good I suppose!

This is one of my favorite photos so as you can imagine I'm
really proud to have it in print.

VENETIAN SNARES - ROSSZ CSILLAG ALLAT SZLETETT

Aaron Funk, wherever you are - Thanks.'
