jackson is great. gives me feeling more of rock album not an
electronica. i mean- its really solid. and it gets better
each listening time.

smash is pretty good, I think it gets undue attention
because its Warp. I was listening to it today and I thought
it sounds like if you took a chris clark track and replaced
some of his weird samples with samples of slade or something

jackson - smashing

the other people place - standard and quite repetitive but
good siesta soundtrack

broadcast - a bit disappointing, smells too much like
stereolab, "the noise made by people" is still my fav.

A lot of quality there, especially Lifestyles of the Laptop
Cafe.

I found the Cocorosie album to be bit too strange, like
something Björk could have made if she were locked in an
asylum

i'm a big fan of jose's album. great stuff.

nrthndr was a bit of a disappointment but i guess i've just
got to give it time.

jackson and his computer band..... i only really like one
track. but it's class.

I have heard some Cocorosie songs from their previous album.
Qutie bizzare, but good. "Boys" (if I'm not mistaken) was
exeptionally sweet, with great vocal lines, and harmonies.

Proem - Live CD..... really, really good stuff. I listened
to this one night this week and it rolls along nicely....
he's great.

Isolee - We Are Monster...... a bit dissapointing, one or
two good tracks, but the rest was uninspiring. I was
looking forward to something smooth, with funky, "thick"
beats, and this was not it.

The Other People Place : Lifestyles of the Laptop Cafe =
4/5

I love this album, the Drexcyian production and especially
the song Moonlight Rendezvous - one of my fave songs ever.
How do you find the album? Why does Sunrays sound so
familiar?

I see we have a mix up here. The tracks you have mentioned
are IDM. Electro is stuff like Drexciya and Anthony Rother.
