this is a really good tune, i love those pads... what did
you use to make it? i hate that question, but sometimes it's
interesting to know.

This is really good. All the sounds are great and fit well
together. I like the atmopshere too.
If I were you, i'd take the beat patterns and make more
subtle changes rather than just switching them and letting
them play out for a bit until a new change occurs.
It's already a fine piece of work but it also has alot of
potential to be a 6-8 min track.

in pc game development, what the developers will do is come
up with the skeleton of the game, that is, the gameplay
elements, stages where youll be shootin gguy sand etc, etc,
thats basically what this is its just kind of like
placeholders, gonn abe tons more shit.....

i think the beats are too shaky sounding. it's interesting
- usually in an electronica piece, i'd think they'd be too
rigid, but here it's the opposite... anyway, these are good
ideas, but i feel like i'm hearing a rickety version of ae
powered by steam and held together with gum. it could use a
lot more work, but don't listen to me anyway

i'd agree. but as a draft i liked the sound of the beats,
but not the overall progress in the track.. also, it's again
very clear where mr cygnus gets his inspiration. (ecstasy)

I listened to it again and I think the only thing that needs
a bit of work is the arrangement. You should make this beat
develop in an envane sorta way. The atmosphere is fine the
way it is.

the percussion at the start is a little plodding, it picks
up later and the track really takes off, maybe not my cup of
tea and it ends awkwardly but a very nice listen, you've
definitely got a knack for tunes, you're a natural. how
long have you been making tunes?

i think it's more the sounds you used and the way the beats
sound like you're trying to do an ae thing. but there's
nothing wrong with that.

only one person mentioned ae. but again, anyone who knows
you here knows how much you like ae, so there's an
expectation of influence. this track does not sound like ae
to me.

yeah, it has to be that i expect him to be influenced by
something. i couldn't possibly have an opinion that stands
up without some kind of hidden psychological drive behind
it. thank you, you are so insightful to review my review.

you moron, my post had nothing to do with your comments.
you're not really the center of the universe, sometimes
someone just posts about the same time as you without seeing
your comment.

If I made music I would copy ae, because they're the best. I
just felt too many posts were made without ae being
mentioned, and I had to rectify that.

i think it just inevitably happens

for example you grow up living around comedians your whole
life you may develop a penchant for being funny, its not
that youre copying those individuals its that its rubbed off
on you

i dont really even consciously consider musicians when im
making music, its just sort of clicking away at stuff and
when some good shit comes out i have to get more of it. kind
of like having a drug factory and im the only one using the
drugs, you know, mixing the chemicals. if other people dig
it then thats awesome how much u want 4 a dimebag of cygnus
beats niggah?

thats why i dont really think theres such thing as 'bad'
music. if the listener is just judging the product, that is,
the music... the only reason they dont have to like it is
cause of preset bias or maybe the music has a quality that
particularly offends them for some reason regardless of
bias...

everybody borrows from other people. there's no such thing
as a totally original artist who starts with no framework or
influence.

as far as ae goes im mainly perplexed just by how original
it all is and how fat it all sounds, thats the main
inspiration there. sorta challenges you as a listener to
consider some strange spaces and situations but also
challenges you as a musician to create some stranger and
unseen places

hello!

it's quite good! one of the better ones I've heard from you.
it sounds a bit like the drums are being repeated in small
loops most of the time, though, and with drums like this,
that becomes quite apparent.. you should try doing all the
drums as one complete track, and don't copy/pasted, just
program them as you go on...
