sounds like money. how about XLT guys do the DJ'ing? for example if the con is 2 nights, at the end of both nights (during the evening) we have a place rented out for drinking and live sets from XLT members... |

£100 is a lot of money extra. i'll be leading the group that hangs out somewhere else while glade is happening and we'll make our own damn party. it may be a party of me. that's a risk i'm prepared to take. it might be sightseeing around england or it might be hanging out in a park with a jambox playing vlari's analord mixtape out of one speaker. i don't know yet - we're going to wing it. |

you are unlikely to get a hotel for 3 nights for less than that, or any IDM entertainment, which I assume is a requirement... it avoids any relying on other people to sort anything out too. At Glade I reckon you could make it through with a ticket+about £50 which isnt too bad at all. if you are coming from america youre gonna need some big funds whatever you do |

it would have to be really, REALLY impressive to me. it would have to be way more than a squarepusher or even just an aphex. it would have to be a total who's who of electronica. if it had live performances by all my favorites, i would consider it. but i'm not paying £100 to see shitmat or something. |

idm isn't a requirement for me, really. i'd rather not spend a lot of money to see something i wouldn't be into. but you're right - it would cost me an awful lot of money just to make the trip at all |
