This looks like it could be good.

Yeah, I like the new Buchla-look. These might come in very
handy if I decide to go fully with Ableton Live.

Yeah, I just bought a lot of new stuff so it'll have to be a
future "project"

and a radiosession on xlt before that :)

do you know if the knobs are continuous on it? cause the
usbkeyboard I use doesn't and it cramps my style when I turn
them and positioning is OUT OF FUCKING SYNC WITH WHAT'S ON
THE SCREEN

These look wicked. No word on pricing yet I guess, but they
sure don't seem too bling bling

They say they're going to be a little bit more expensive
than the first generation, which was 179€. I've heard
rumours that these might for for 189€.

back because he knows it'll be something fucking special ;)

Haha, almost looks like a Buchla Modular system, only
lacking the plethora of patchcables and some different
modules :p

nice... yet another thing to add to my deck of gear.

so... i take it you can't really make music... you can just
manipulate sound with these sort of controllers?

is that what a controller really is? do you consider it an
instrument?

offline Taxidermist from Black Grass on 2006-01-31 23:48 [#01831636]

You know, I think I might be alone in finding gear that
looks like that kind of tacky. Like, if I am going to pay
$20,000 for a buchla system, I want it to look like a
$20,000 piece of gear, and not something made out of
gingerbread.

(not saying it won't sound good or anything, but it doesn't
look sturdy at all)

is there anything else comparable to these? I cant believe
its so expensive for a nice selection of buttons knobs and a
slider

fuck this, why dont we all just cheat when we perform live
and mime or whatever. if we're all in on it no one needs to
know. ¬_¬
