At audio settings what might I adjust to make my program
run smoother. (FL is the only program running.)

For "Output" I have 3 devices. Which should I use: Primary
Sound Driver, Crystal WDM Audio, or Game Compatible Device
(Emulated).

For "Direct Sound Properties" what should the Buffer Length
be set to?

"Interpolation"?

Thanks for your help, I don't really understand this part of
the program. :)

You should get yourself an asio-driver. But use your WDM
driver at this stage. Set the buffer-length to the lowest
possible value that doesn't cause underruns.

The mixer-interpolation should be left at linear for best
performance, but set to Sinc Depth 256 at the export-options
when rendering.

I suggest you render to wave and encode with the newest
version of whatever encoder you wish outside of FL for the
best sound quality too. Leave the dithering off.
