I know Mr Panda is a fan but anyone else? I seriously
can't get enough either by himself or with Ryuichi Sakamoto.
He is live in Newcastle in March so I am making an excuse
to have to travel there. Seriously good stuff which a lot
of people will probably hate or belch at.

I have a few Alva Noto tracks, It's really good. Sort of
like glitch virus farts pumping out growing rhythems and
flows.
And did that other guy do merry christmas mr. lawrence?

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but Nicolai was certainly one
of the brightest points of 2005 for me.

Noto is one of my favourite minimalist artists. I've found
his tracks suitable to do homework to.

The early Noto stuff is too minimal for me. That are basicly
hisses, nothing more.

i went to noto-sakamoto concert in my city at the end of
october
so wonderful audio video performance!
i actually own a copy of insen, not yet vrioon (well i have
it in mp3)
the transall series is the best thing of alva noto IMHO
at

I agree with transall being his best till now.

Hmmm, is my memory playing tricks on me or do we have one
Alva Noto thread every month with same people saying same
things?

case of the emperor's new clicks.

Have not heard this transall stuff - I have prototypes,
transform and insen.

I bought "insen" but it was only the 25 seconds that were
chosen for the preview-track at the raster-shop that IMO
actually was good... :( (the part at 1:48 in "aurora")

bump!

Opto is wonderful for sunny days, but I can't decide which
drink it goes best with.. it's kind of neither whiskey nor
beer.. maybe it's some sort of drink like a cuba libre or
something..?

Saw him in Ghent, great!
They also moved their mail-shop (Raster Noton) to Ghent for
a month, great opportunity for me to buy all the vinyls and
not paying all this mail-costs!
Ghent is a great city btw

ive just got it today.
its the best from all series, though its a single only. 3
tracks, but the first one just hits the mind so madly...
that piano sliced and putted back together, ah...

a real masterpiece. highly recommended purity of sound.
