44mins track is amazing, i think it definately afx - the
beat gives it away, and i love when the acid line comes in.
and he did say hes reluctant to release his best stuff
too...

the mp3 version of this set seems different from this video
version, why?

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2006-02-02 07:12 [#01832585]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

they are the same..unless you have another video or mp3 :)

offline tolstoyed from the ocean on 2006-02-02 07:13 [#01832586]
Points: 50073 Status: Moderator

oh, there's no first part in the mp3 if that's what you
mean. they opened up with those cunningham's videos of
aphexes music and that part is missing in the mp3.

i've said this loads of times already, but i have an 192kpbs
very clear audiance version of it, it hangs together really
well, but slightly different order (there are cuts and an
abrupt end in the film), moondog guy, did you say you were
there, do you remember that italian bit at the end
translating as 'thank god for acid, if this is the modern
music today', over a medley of recent pop songs?

anyway, tell someone tell me what link will last the longest
(not yousendit), and i'll try and stick it up saturday.

the italian bit? funny isn't it?! all the reviews described
the show quite throughly from torino and that is deffinitely
what i got but i'm having trouble putting a file that big on
yousendit or megaupload, has anyone got any suggestions of
different ways i could send it, the longer lasting link the
better....

offline WooferAttack from Milano (Italy) on 2006-02-04 15:11 [#01834662]

ok, now i discovered my mp3 version is ok, and the right end
is when after mangle11 afx played some pop songs like
tiziano ferro from italy, avril lavigne, asereje by les
ketchup, etc...

it is very funny 'cos the italian voice speak about how
shitty and boring is commercial music. at the end the
italian voice say "finally a bit of healthy devastation"...
"celebral devastation" and then the hardcore track started.

wot..i thought it was a standard hour an a half set..i
danced from start to finish so that may have made it seem
shorter..he could easily continue for another hour, crowd
certanly wouldn't mind it : )

mmm dunno... time tends to increase quality of memories...
maybe it was shorter... but i remember mr. james having fun
and jumping amongst styles and neverending and noisily
destroying international comercial tunes after a long half
of an hour of wild jungle and
