I need help finding MP3 Usage statistics

Hey everyone, I'm writing a paper on the benefits of record
labels embracing MP3s instead of fighting them. I've got
data about record sales and all that, but what I can't find
is just how many people are using mp3s. I'm trying to argue
that MP3s are here to stay, but I need data saying that MP3
usage is on the rise or not going away. Does anyone know of
any reliable surveys, estimates, anything? Thank you very
much

im pretty convinced mp3s/other audio media ratio on this
site is 90:10 in favour of mp3.

oh, and here's the only fact i can provide; i probably have
around 1500 units of (original) audio sources, but my ratio
is still about the same i posted above.

Statistics about illegal file downloading will propably be
very difficult to find, but you could ask for sales
statistics from digital music vendors as iTunes Music Store,
Bleep and others.

no one actually know, but u do find estimates on the
internet, im sure a lot of them are bullshit for propaganda,
but just copy and paste that shit
