With the new apple macs (or imacs) using intel cpu, they
will soon be able to run windows aswell as their OSX os.

This begs the question 'are you going to switch?'

For me, well i would love to, but not right now, since there
needs to be some progress for it to work first, and i
haven't got any money right now.

But since apple macs seem to be more stable for audio work,
i would like to try it out, and heck - if it's as cheap as a
pc ( i heard it will be cheaper than normal macs ) then i
would be happy to.

So, what's the difference?
Windows running on a PC or a Mac will always be Windows,
innit?

I'm interested in having a dual boot system.
I just wish Apples prices were reasonable. Yeah, the look
nice and that but I'll be fucked if I'm paying 40% extra
because it says apple on it.

i think i remember, years ago, i had seen a macintosh
computer who also had a "pc" os included (maybe just dos, or
windows as well)... and you could switch between systems
when you wanted...

not sure how it worked actually, i had seen that on tv.

virtual pc.

very slow and hardly usable even on a fast/new mac, but
still handy for NI serial generators

about the topic - i'm on mac os and has always been... i'm
not really used to windows (even though i've used it
sometimes of course)... i've been thinking of switching
(mostly to have more games available) but i don't think i
will. after all, machines get obsolete so quickly, games are
expensive, i'm already playing on consoles... (i don't like
windows a lot either when i have to use it, but that may
just be a matter of habits...)
