hm that may be quite impossible i guess.... i didn't get them from elusive anyway - just from another guy on slsk. that so insane. i could never imagine how much "dirt" they have in their tracks. mp3's sound so "muffled" you can actually hear every rendering mistake, aliasing, listen which sounds are rendered or sampled... genious ! |

buy the vinyl download cd-flac rips. simple as that. and yes, listening to autechre very loud will def show the benefits of lossless. mp3 was not made to handle augmatic disport. crazy good |

Personally, i haven't done any direct compariseons. but i soon hope to. I heard that you can't play mp3's in clubs because the codec doesn't keep the sub bass levels?.. i personally don't believe that but it's what i heard. |

exsub, yes. mp3s don't handle low bass very well. everything is relative, but you get the idea. i wouldn't say you can't play mp3s live, but i personally have noticed a lot of bass textures that are corrupted when encoding to mp3. your results may vary it's all about personal taste. if mp3 sounds good enough to you? no point in arguing if you do notice a difference? cool. |
