im trying to get some screen captures of a dvd film, but all i got when i paste into photoshop a "screenprint" is a black image... due to the film copyright protection, i guess...
anyone knows how to get it work?

well, i press the printscreen (or is it screenprint?) key on the keyboard and then i press control + v into photoshop... and i get a black image...

You'll have to use a dvd application which can do still capture. Or rip the dvd to avi and load into virtualdub and capture with that.

I use VLC to play the DVD and just capture it like I would normally, but then again I'm on a mac
