no not really, I'm just trying to lure dog_belch in this thread.
what I did make however, is some music inspired by black dog.

I think a surefire way to keep dog_belch at bay is mentioning "my art" in the title.

That's exactly what happened. I was already to go into my pre written tiresome tirade about people calling their half arsed anime sketches "my art". But no, it wasn't to be. Thwarted.

your plan backfired in a way, because i was so ready to see some paintings or something, that i got annoyed when the mp3 link popped up and i closed it.

I like the track, quite Black Doggy, you've done it really well, I hear a bit of "Virtual" in there... but good I like it. But seeing as you didn't say "Thanks dan for telling me what that Balil track was, even though it turned out to be by Atypic" I'm not going to mention post here.
Except to ask, what did you use to get these Black Dog style sounds?

ah yes, glad you like it and thanks dan for telling me what that Balil track was, even though it turned out to be by Atypic.
I used absynth 3.0 for the weird pad that starts in the beginning and I also used absynth for the main lead. both of them where my own patches. from scratch ofcourse. the bassline was made with an excellent freeware synth called Asynth. and the arp thingie was made using the oddity vsti. drums are ofcourse 808 and bits of 909 subtley processed through absynth.

oh and I also used another instance of absynth for that weird blubbery arp at 1:35
and all of it was sequenced in FL

wow cool. very nice, keep that up. remember The Black Dog is not a group, but a spirit that drifts from place to place, emitting influence. apparently he stopped by for tea at your pad ;)

nice black dog thing there. The Black Dog isnt a group, youre right. its an ancient egyptian god whos spirit still roams the earth. he first came up with IDM over 4000 years ago.
