I just spent 2 Babylon-5-free-weeks while I was waiting for season 2 to come in the mail, only to finally get it and find out disc 3 is missing, and in its stead is second copy of disc 1.
Whoever that son of a BITCH is that works in the packaging plant at Warner Brothers, I hate you, man. And if I knew some Wiccan Curses or something I would curse your firstborn child.

I have heard of such magic, however life has thrown me a lemon with my location in the hills and I'm relegated to a life of 56k sounds and AOL based drive by connections.
That having been said, I am addicted to buying complete seasons of sci fi entertainment regardless.

Yes, and I utilize them fully for my World of Warcraft patches and Otto Von Schirach downloads.
But there is still my raging DVD addiction that even broadband would neigh quench.
When I'm cold and alone, looking at my $600 bill for the complete series of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, I question my life.

futurama was brilliant. it really was brilliant. after starting a bit slow with season 1, it turned out to be really good. i think it's good that it got canned after season 4 (or 5, however you look at it), because the old writers would probably leave or get "producer" jobs and it would all go to hell anyway, like the simpsons did years ago.

hmm. my mind is never clear. i can never work out if i like family guy or not. i used to. but then i hated it. now i like it. or do i.
but american dad. my mum LOVES IT. and she hates family guy. if you like one youd think youd like both.
atm im not enjoying it : )
BUT FUTURAMA :D i got all the dvds (with the help of christmas) and yeah. season 3 n 4 are definetely not as good. but theres still classic episodes in there to still make it awesome.

American dad is just a rehashed version of the creator's creativity. It really just feels like the same show with less entertaining characters... both the kids and the mom in american dad have absolutely no personality, and the german goldfish and the alien are just ridiculous... its like they asked themselves "how can we outdo a talking dog and a talking, super-intelligent baby? I know! a talking fish and refugee alien should do the trick!"

futurama is the most over-rated cartoon series, i think. i've seen about 7 episodes and none of them have made me laugh. i just sit there staring, getting more and more bored and unamused at every predictable joke that's thrown at me.
same goes for american dad, only moreso. absolutely diabolical.
family guy, however, is fucking brilliant. it's the one cartoon that can have me in stitches throughout a whole episode. Chris pisses me off however - nothing he says is ever funny, and his voice gets to me. the rest is just comedy gold though.

Family Guy is full of horrible High School humour. I haven't seen American Dad, but if it's a rehash of FG it can't be good.

family guy is terrific, albeit on and off since the new seasons started.
futurama is ingenious and probably the funniest of all the "adult" cartoons. and how can people diss the later seasons with such excellent episodes as 'the farnsworth paradox' and 'three hundred big boys'.
and to those who say chris from family guy has never made you laugh, i present this:
"whats the use of mining nose gold if i cant share it with the townspeople?!"

"family guy" tries too hard. it's like someone screaming in your face going "FUNNYFUNNY LAUGH AT MEEEEEEEEEEE" and then being not very funny. at all.
"american dad" is really bad, though.

It definitely has its moments.
Its not great, but I can't think of anything with a similar sense of humor.
Except American Dad, which is 'mediocre' compared to Family Guy, which is 'good'.
