Sorry, just to warn you, this is on soundclick, so you'll
have to stream a "hi-fi" playing for it. I had no more room
on my myspace account....

Anyway, I'd really appreciate feedback on this POPPY track
I've done with Andrea Black. Forgive the bizzare lyrics,
that's her fault. Great singer, though. ;-)

I listened to Lizard Talk.

I really wanted to dislike this track but despite the pretty
meaningless 'house music' lyrics and lengthy piano intro
before the beat kicks in, it's Great!!

you've got a sort of Chicane vibe going on throughout much
of it until the end where your own style kicks in. Her
vocals are impressivly good and, although the sound will
probably be too mainstream for most zlty people, I think
it's worth downloading.

Who is it similar to before I download it?

nice atmosphere in this track - the vocals have an
interesting abstractness to them as well. sort of reminds me
just a bit of bjork at the beginning for some reason, and
the twinkling piano is cool. when the beat kicks in though,
i become reminded of the eurhytmics for some reason and the
high lyrics make me think of annie lennox.

i think the track is very catchy, and i like the subtle
textures in the background, but i think the atmosphere of
the beginning needs to be carried over into the main part of
the track. other than that, i really like it. it's very well
produced.

the noisy part at the end though is excellent.

Thank you very much for listening, everyone. I'm sure there
is a way to bring the intro's atmosphere into the main song
in a more pronounced way during the breakdown, or something.
:-)
