but not the more beat oriented ones - i thought about the
more soundtrack alike ones like helix stair helve from
cautella or w-carp from asect:desect.

i completely fell in love when i actually realised how much
pictures and scenes you can discover in these tracks. they
are like telling some history you can really get into.

are there other artists that make similar music?

Track 2 of this release should satisfy your
cravings (read the press release on that page). Best get
your cheque-book ready though, it's sold out and going for
silly money on ebay.

the music to the Nexus RTS game is similar.
his music is pretty unique though. it might be the result of
divine inspiration. find a pic, he looks like a tibetan
buddhist monk. and his name looks like divine too!

those tracks remind me of the tatamax cassette on skam a
lot. i love that tape..

also i believe richard devine's ambientishbits are kinda
influenced by coil in some way. probably not the type you
are after but there are some excellent coil releases in that
vein, in a way ... black light district/astral
disaster/moon's milk/queens of the circulating library, etc
etc..

or maybe coil inspired you somehow through richard also? :)

there's a coil track called 5-Methoxy-N,N-Dimethyl:
(5-MeO-DMT)
on time machines. another one i could have
mentioned above!

Shapeshifter = Richard devine without beats
Einoma = Slow richard devine
Recheznetrum = Similar kind of glitches, slower and more
organic sounding
Traject = Like einoma
Smyglyssna = Very richard devine sounding
Crunch = See above

I checked all of these out. and exept for shapeshifter (who
is also on schematic) none of them sound even remotely like
richard devine. but shapeshifter comes the closest. very
close even.

isnieZot: lol, that was pretty cool.... needs more emphasis
on atmosphereics if you really want to sound Deviney. IMO
