my sister and wife went in on a 60 gig video ipod for me christmas present. it's sweet, but i can't figure out how to download my own videos onto it. i grab a video i made in wma format, and drag it to my ipod in i-tunes but nothing happens. is it even possible to watch my own home movies and such on my ipod? anyone know anything 'bout this? |

i was actualy gonna start a thread on these, cause my bro and i joined forces to get my mom one. we were thinking she could get a bunch of oldschool videos, shes like the commodores stevie wonder and the like, do they have videos on itunes that are in that genre? and also music |

yeah, its absolutely bollox. if it had a massive fold-out 19" TFT screen then maybe. ipods are unfathomably shite compared to other mp3 players anyway. |

Quicktime PRO will do the conversion. Just go to export and choose the 'iPod Video' preset. :) is a little video I made if you are interested. ;p |

I use "PSP video 9" to make mp4s for my psp. Its free. Should work for anything which uses mpeg4/mp4 though. |

id say get a crack for quicktime pro, shouldnt be that hard to find. ripping off apple would seem only fair as they ripped your fam off with that ipod :P |

ok i get it, everyone is jealous of my sweet i-pod. don't hate, just because your heavy, imitation-ipod bricks have crappy GUI's and unreliable performance. and don't be grumpy just because your families don't love you as much as mine loves me. i'm not trying to brag here, i just wanted a bit of advice. :D |

I'm slightly jealous but that's because you have 60gigs of space whereas I have 40. Also your screen is colour and shows the album art. how's your nipper? |

Oh! she is doing very well! Sleeping and pooping a lot which is very cute. It's quite amazing, she only drinks milk but somehow, there is always corn in her poop..? well it looks like corn anyway. Actually the video i was trying to put on my Ipod is called ceci bear's fifth morning. it was the fifth morning of her existence and being an obsessive cyber parent and avid BOC fan i had to cut a little viddy. |
