well...yeah it does kinda stay a bit same-ish

is it that bothersome? or is it because you're used to
listening to venetian snares and are expecting a change in
every bar?

but with enough drugs you won't notice the
monotonenessssss:D

nah, i wouldn't say bothersome, just redundant. if that's
the way you want it, that's fine - it just means that it's
too same-ish for me, i guess.

I layerd snares and kicks and shit of existing breaks and
made a new break out of it.

ok, will you ever experiment with doing the same for the
melodies on top?

what do you mean? add a melody on top of that bass?

online big from lsg on 2005-12-27 08:55 [#01807188]

to make the melodies with samples as you did the beats

I'm not sure I'm following here. :/

the beats where made with layered samples. the bass sounds
where all made in absynth. no samples used. the pads are
also made in absynth. no samples used. there will be no
extra melodies in the track. I also never use samples for
creating melodies.

i thought you cut up breaks from songs for the beats and
could do the same for melodies, but i guess you got clean
samples of breaks (from sample packs maybe), i had the wrong
idea of the process you used for making these kind of
breakbeats

i like it but it needs for melody for sure.

hectic drum programming and crazy bass noise just doesnt do
it for me nowadays.

who needs melody when you got BAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSss!!!!!!!

well yeah I admit it had a melody in the first version of
the track but I took it out because it didn't really fit
with such a heavy bass.
the melody imediatly gave it another mood....it was not the
mood I wanted

you could ofcourse blame my melody writing skills for that I
guess. :D
