He is quite dodgy.

Gays should be able to marry, women should be able to choose
whether or not they want children, and canadas arctic should
stay the way it is. Why do we need military protecting
thousands of kilometers of baren frozen wasteland? "What if
al quada decides to set up base there?!?" "Let them. They
probly won't live past winter, unless they set up a
sophisticated camp that can maintain enough heat to keep
everybody warm and alive without drawing too much attention
from satelite and won't be noticed when they try to bring in
supplies".

The only thing good they might do is increase penalties for
gun related crime, which is a good thing. I hope to hell
they don't make it easier for people to get guns.
